WELLNESS CONNECTION · MedicalProject Transformation Winner: Dave FuglebergJune 10, 2010 - 8:00AM Project Transformation winner Dave Fugleberg is an aerospace and mechanical engineer from Westlake Village, California. Dave grew up in the Panama Canal Zone and was very active as a child, participating in many outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and racing canoes. He attended college at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where he achieved his pinnacle of fitness by participating in crew for a short period of time during his freshman year and the rugby team throughout his junior and senior years. Upon graduation, he took a job refueling nuclear reactors all over the U.S. and Europe, a position that also required a high level of fitness. However, as Dave grew older and gained more experience, he was promoted into sedentary, office-based occupations. The combination of the those jobs and an increasingly inactive lifestyle took a toll on him, leaving Dave with excess weight and a desire to change his daily routines in order to return to his previous health, all of which led to his entry in Project Transformation. Upon beginning the program, Dave’s goals are to lose weight, exercise regularly and become more active to regain the mobility and energy levels that he once had. As a current MBA student at Pepperdine University, he also needs the strength and energy to balance his rigorous academic studies with his career. He is currently working with the experts at California Health & Longevity Institute to reach his peak, both personally and professionally. Rated by 0 people:
