WELLNESS CONNECTION · SpaFeng Shui BeautyBy Billy Yamaguchi, Yamaguchi SalonOctober 15, 2010 - 8:30AM![]() When we look at Chi in the realm of beauty, the same principles apply. Chi is the energy flowing from the hairstylist’s arms down to the scissors and where Chi flows gently, abundance follows. Feng Shui Beauty literally means the elements of beauty. It is understanding and enhancing your personal Chi through the five elements. Everything in the world belongs to one of the five elements or energies: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. Although people have qualities of each element, two will normally dominate at any given time. Fire people are often leaders and crave attention whereas those of the earth element are supportive and loyal. In general, metal people are dogmatic and resolute. Water people tend to be diplomatic and intuitive and wood personalities are energetic and social. By recognizing each of the elements’ roles in our personalities and lifestyles, we can better understand our likes and dislikes, our hopes and fears and our needs. Yamaguchi Feng Shui looks at the beauty within the individual, of which many of us may not even be aware. People can go through their life even for 40 or 50 years without recognizing or acknowledging their attractiveness. The goal of Feng Shui Beauty is to assist the individual in expressing their personal power and inner allure. Rated by 2 people: |
