Terry Schaack, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Terry Schaack has devoted his medical career to the
highest levels of patient care and cutting-edge medical research. For
more than 15 years, Dr. Schaack was in private practice, providing primary
and preventive care to patients in Southern California. He maintains
hospital privileges at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica,
California where he was recently elected secretary of the medical staff.
Before going into private practices, Dr. Schaack served as a hospital
intensivist and as a Director of Emergency Services. At California Health
& Longevity Institute, Inc. he is a Medical Director.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the University
of Rochester, New York, Dr. Schaack received his medical education at
the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Additionally,
he trained in internal medicine at Ohio State University and did sub-specialty
training in Rheumatology at UCLA. Currently, Dr. Schaack is the primary
investigator for a National Genetics Institute study on DNA breakdown
and repair. Dr. Schaack received a Senior Rheumatology Scholar Award
by the American College of Rheumatology and in 2006 he was nominated
as one of the “Best Doctors in America.”
Jonathan R. Cole, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Jonathan Cole, a board-certified internist, comes
to California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc. with extensive
experience in the areas of preventive and internal medicine. As Medical
Director, he provides a 360 degree approach to patient health and wellness
with an emphasis on preventive medicine so that patients live better,
longer. Before joining California Health & Longevity Institute,
Inc., Cole was a clinical instructor at the prestigious University of
Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, with responsibility for
teaching medical students the art of history-taking and physical diagnosis.
During his career, he also served as the Vice President of Medical Staff
for Saint John’s Health Center, where he was recently elected
by the medical staff to the hospital’s Executive Board.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego,
Dr. Cole holds degrees in Biology and English Literature. He attended
the Chicago Medical School, where he graduated with highest honors in
the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. His medical training in internal
medicine was completed at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,
Texas as well as the Texas Medical Center, where he received the award
for “Most Outstanding Resident in Primary Care.”

Ronald Moy, M.D.
Director of Dermatology
As Director of Dermatology for California Health &
Longevity Institute, Dr. Ronald Moy employs all the latest proven methods
to rejuvenate skin and make it look younger. His goal is to teach patients
how to detect and prevent aging skin and skin cancers, as well as to
use non-invasive new techniques - including the latest laser technology
-- in treating the skin.
Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Moy was elected to
the 2007-2008 Best Doctors in America, a database distinction that is
determined by his clinical peers. He received his medical degree from
Albany Medical College and completed his residency program at UCLA.
A Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Moy
has also been president of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery,
past president of the Pacific Dermatology Association and Editor-in-Chief
of Dermatologic Surgery. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors
for the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic
Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Moy
has published over 200 journal articles and recently wrote several textbooks
about the subjects of cosmetic surgery, blepharosplasty and facelift
textbooks.

Stan Golden, DDS
Director of Dentistry
Dr. Stan Golden is widely recognized as one of the country’s
leading dentists. In private practice in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles
for over 20 years, Dr. Golden is responsible for many of the beautiful
smiles seen in film and television.
At California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc.
Dr. Golden uses his expertise to focus on cosmetic dentistry, dental
implants, TMJ function as well as full-mouth reconstruction. His goal
is to help prolong the quality of a patient’s life by maintaining
and improving dental health through the use of comprehensive dental
care. Dr. Golden attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis
for his undergraduate and his dental degrees. Following graduation,
he volunteered for the dental corps of the United States Air Force,
serving as a captain for two years.

Steven Tan, M.D. MTOM, Lac
Director of Complementary
and Alternative Medicine
Dr. Steven Tan is the Director of Complementary and Alternative
Medicine for California Health & Longevity Institute. Dr. Tan is
one of the country’s most comprehensively trained integrative
physicians, and he has the rare distinction of holding medical degrees
and board certification in both western and eastern medicine. A graduate
of the UCLA School of Medicine and the UCLA Internal Medicine Residency
Program, he is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Tan completed
his Oriental medical degree and internship at Emperor’s College
in Los Angeles. While studying in China, he completed an externship
in acupuncture and herbal medicine at the prestigious Hong Kong Baptist
University Hospital.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Dr. Tan to the
California Acupuncture Board, where he currently serves as chairman.
As an associate faculty member for the UCLA Center for Integrative Medicine,
Dr. Tan researches stress and integrative medicine. He previously served
on the external board of advisors to the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition
and Dietary Supplements Research.

Robert Alan Princenthal, M.D.
Director of imaging
Dr. Robert Princenthal is the Medical Director of the
Imaging Department for California Health & Longevity Institute.
Dr. Princenthal is a board certified radiologist and a Diplomate of
the American Board of Radiology. An honors graduate of Bowdoin College
in Brunswick, Maine, Dr. Princenthal went on to receive his M.D. from
Penn State University, College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. His residency
was in Diagnostic Radiology at Yale University of Medicine, and following
that he completed a post doctoral fellowship at the University of California,
San Diego in CT-Ultrasound Interventional Angiography.
Dr. Princenthal is a member of the National Board of
Medical Examiners, the Radiologic Society of North America and the Los
Angeles Radiology Society.

Paul B. Haberman, M.D.
Director of Sleep Medicine Program
Dr. Haberman started Internal Medicine training at Georgetown Medical Division in Washington D.C. His training was interrupted by two years of military service, including one year in Viet Nam. On returning, he completed his training at UCLA in Westwood, California and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at UCSD. He practiced pulmonary medicine in Santa Monica, California including serving as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. John's Hospital. He developed an interest in sleep medicine and became the director of the Sleep Disorders Laboratory at St. John's Hospital in 1992 after having completing specialty training again at Stanford University. He became boarded in Sleep Medicine in 1995. Dr. Haberman works with California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc. to offer sleep studies at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, the most unique sleep laboratory in the country.
