Steve Chopyak, D.C.
Dr. Steve Chopyak brings 30 years of chiropractic clinical experience to California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc. Inspired by the restoration of his own health with chiropractic techniques, he uses gentle and natural methods that worked for his own back pain. Focusing on whole person balance and health, Dr. Chopyak is experienced in many advanced techniques including low force Vector Point cranial treatment. When asked about his philosophy of chiropractic treatment, Dr. Chopyak says, “Because I had experience with a severe chronic condition myself, I am familiar with the experience of pain, physical limitations caused by pain, and its effect on lifestyle. When I treat patients, I work with the whole person so that the body’s different parts are all playing in natural rhythm and harmony with each other.”
He completed his chiropractic education at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN. While he is currently practicing in California, he has in the past practiced in Montana, Minnesota and Missouri, and is a former member of the teaching staff of the Cranio-Facial Pain Clinic at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Chopyak is also two-term past president of the Santa Monica Chapter of the California Chiropractic Association.
